HR 1586 Would Tax Bailed-Out Companies’ Bonuses

Need a bailout? No bonus!
A new bill, HR 1586, has been introduced in the wake of the AIG bonus calamity. HR 1586 would slap a 90 percent tax on bonuses given to employees at companies that get large amounts of bailout money.
Democrats love it. Republicans hate it.
