Westboro Baptist Church faces major hate speech decision

The Supreme Court will decide if a private individual can sue for being the target of hate speech in a case against Westboro Baptist Church.

Supreme Court rules free speech allows animal cruelty videos

The U.S. Supreme Court has struck down a law that made animal cruelty videos illegal. Is this what the Fathers intended for free speech?
A dog looking up at its owner with happiness and expectation. How is it that the U.S. Supreme Court can hold that animal cruelty is illegal, yet rule that the First Amendment and freedom of speech may protect animal cruelty videos?
