The Payday Loan is a barometer of the national economy and by all accounts the Personal Money Store must be working overtime dishing out Payday loans to the long line of applicants. Things are really bad, according to this morning’s news, which I squeezed in between watching fantastic tennis at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

First it’s the people

First it was individuals who couldn’t pay their debts, so they organized themselves loans which gave them a bit of breathing space and allowed them to get things together again. Then small businesses started to flounder and getting them back on their feet was not so easy. It’s probably simpler to declare bankruptcy and let the scavengers fight over the remains.

Then it’s the banks

Then medium sized banks started to shout warnings which sent their customers running to withdraw their money and savings which simply hastened the demise of the bank. Then came the larger banks. Now the tsunami is in full swing, carrying everything and everyone along with it. Big banks started to fall and then all the banks in one country, Iceland, sank together into the frozen North Sea.

Followed by the stock exchange

The stock exchanges collapse and icons like general Motors and Ford follow suit. At the time of writing this article, you can buy shares in the Ford Motor company for the amount of $1.80 each. It feels almost like buying candies for the kids.

Somewhere in the midst of all this chaos we read about one Madoff, who it seems may have siphoned 50 billion dollars out of the economy, but no one quite knows where it went or what to do about it. No one can even imagine what 50 billion looks or feels like.

Now it’s a whole city

Now to this morning’s news. It seems that the city of London is in financial trouble. Someone should urgently tell them about a Payday Loan to try and help them, otherwise we’ll all be lining up to buy their shares at $1.80 each as well. Think I could get a stake in Buckingham Palace?

This may all sound very light-hearted but it’s anything but that. What’s going to happen? Can anyone tell me when things are going to get better? Whole industries are shutting down. What will happen to all the workers? They will all disappear into other industries which are not affected, if they can find them. And then one day, somewhere in the future when things do get better, who will work in these long abandoned industries?

A bitter end

I watched two British workers being interviewed on TV. One received notice in his pay packet on Friday. He has worked at the same steel mill since he was 20 years old and that was 45 years ago. The other, a man of 63, has worked at a ship building plant since he was a teenager. They both looked at the cameras blankly when the interviewer asked them what they were going to do. Why, is there actually something else? Neither of them has ever done anything else!

If you are struggling with all the turmoil in the economy, I would recommend Personal Money Store so you can apply for a Payday Loan which will give you breathing time to get over whatever the turmoil may be.

You can count on them. They never go to the wrong address. And they never forget you. It takes a payday loan to see one of these guys reverse back through the garden gate.

Grandpa’s theory on taxes

My wise old grandfather once told me, on the day I was crying about paying my very first income tax payment, that it was a good sign. “Paying taxes means you are making money,” he explained. “So you have to give the government their share. Think of all the things they do for you. No matter how much tax you pay, you will never have to pay one hundred percent of what you earn. There will always be something left for you. So pay the taxes and smile, my boy. You are winning!”

Okay, grandpa, may you rest in peace, I have always adopted your attitude toward paying taxes.

My current tax rate is 47%, probably double what grandpa paid. Half! I am paying half of what I earn to the government. I get the use of the money for most of the year and I pay small amounts in advances or in monthly installments during the year, but there’s always a big hit in about April, when the income tax department gets their act together and goes out hunting. And that’s when I need a Payday Loan.

My theory on taxes

My attitude towards taxes is simple. I do not wish to pay them. The government should find another way of raising money, especially the big money. How about hiring one of these major rip-off artists like that chap Bernie, and put him to work on something that we will all benefit from. The guy managed to raise 50 billion for himself. Imagine what he could do with the government backing him.

Maybe I should work less?

Feeling rather stupid and completely counter-productive, I did the exercise to see if there is a real difference between working less, earning less and paying less tax, as opposed to working more, earning more and paying more tax. The difference was not dramatic but I am still better off working. As grandpa said, they never hit you for one hundred percent, it just feels like it.

I also found that I was thoroughly disgusted with myself for doing such an exercise – this is me investing in the possibilities of working less? But the culprit here is actually the government who, through imposing these high taxes, is putting these thoughts into my mind. Make it worth my while, Mr. Government and I’ll work many more hours per day!

Facing the showdown

I will pay my taxes because I am a law abiding citizen. I will have to take a payday loan in order to make the payment and I may even have to extend the payback period for more than one month, but I’m sure they will agree to this. Good thing the government isn’t into the payday loan business as well!

Will this recession do that? (Image via Wikimedia)

Since December of 2007 the economy has been in a recession, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, a payday loan may be all your family can use to get by in these hard times. The NBER has not just looked at lowering production rates, less employment income, and a drop in employment; they have also looked at real personal income. With all of these combined they have finally found that the drop of the economy occurred between November 2007 to January 2008. With this occurring, many households need cash advance loans to get by during this holiday season.

Recession Not Over Soon

There is no exact date that the recession will be over; history has proven it takes about six to 18 months for a recession to be through doing its harm on the economy. The current recession is one of the longest since the Great Depression. This means more than likely you will not be receiving that nice Christmas bonus that you counted on last year to get you by for the holiday season. If you have been paying your bills on time and still do not have enough money to get by try cash advance loans for your unexpected expenses.

Techniques to Save

The Holidays are the roughest time of the year to be without extra money to buy the necessary items one needs. People are not only cutting back on the amount of presents they are buying this year but also watching what kind of food they are purchasing and trying to look for the best deal they can find. As consumers, we are cutting back on things we once saw as necessities like not buying a bottle of water, instead bringing a container from home filled with tap water, or that morning jolt we thought we had to have at Starbucks has now been considered a secondary item, and only purchased on special occasions.

It is not just consumers feeling the pressure of the recession; companies are also feeling these effects. In part we have seen a large increase in the past months of unemployment and that a loss in consumer buying affects companies because they are not getting the capital they need to keep running efficiently. This leads to a lack of bonuses and incentives that normally, in a good economy, companies use to encourage their employees. So, even the boss has to cut back on spending and watch what they do so their company doesn’t end up in the gutter when the recession is all said and done with.

Hard Times for Everyone

Everyone is facing the same problems when it comes to the recession and a lack of money. Do not feel alone in these hard times; everyone is making cutbacks somewhere in their lives to make up for increasing prices on necessities. We all feel the economic pinch that is being caused by the recession. So if you are following some of these techniques and still are having problems coming up with extra cash for necessary items you need, try cash advance loans for a little extra assistance.

The Authentic Nightmare

The thought of living in a country with limited food and water, no educational functioning affair or a way to obtain some sort of instant payday loans to get the medical attention you desperately need is absolutely depressing. That’s exactly what the people of Zimbabwe, Africa are undergoing at this time. Many are suffering from broken-down water supplies and seeking water from polluted rivers. This is yet another hard thrust to the people of Africa.

Zimbabwe Cholera Breakout

A cholera epidemic is spinning out of control, leaving more than 400 people dead and thousands infected. This tribulation is left unchecked because of critical cash shortages. With no other alternative to work with, many residents have dug holes in their front yards in hopes of finding water. The nation cannot afford chemicals to treat their water or for doctors to treat victims, thus the number of cases is radically increasing by the day. With poverty and the lack of resources, such as instant payday loans and emergency funds, or without a sensible government to begin with, it can be extremely hard to escape something so devastating.

The Fight to Survive

Last Friday, a group from Chitungwiza filed an application in the High Court suing the government-run Zimbabwe National Water Authority, which is responsible for supplying water to the afflicted nation. Arthur Taderera, the chairman of the Chitungwiza Residents, points the finger at ZINWA stating that “due to their lack of diligence and constant supplies of clean water to my place of residence, diseases like cholera surfaced and people are dying.” With no medical treatment, clean water and/or effective sewage systems, these people are left with no confidence or hope for a resolution, only to await their death.

“And just when you thought it was over…”

There are severe shortages of basic commodities in many different areas. The lack of money is only part of the economic crush that is adding further distress in the country. The Zimbabwean currency is worth a microscopic fraction of the value it had at the start of the year. Since the Central Bank effectively floated the currency in early May after years of an official peg, the currency has decrease in value by about 84 percent. On top of that, the unemployment rate in Zimbabwe is about 90 percent. Fuel is also in short supply and inflation is officially over 230 million percent. You can see why instant payday loans are absolutely necessary in situations like these.

Consider Yourself Lucky

This disturbing affair is truly a reminder of how fortunate we are to live in a country like ours. The cholera epidemic that many of the people in Africa are facing right now is in addition to many of the heartbreaking ordeals that are happening around the world. Poverty, suffering and sadness are some of the only ways to describe what these people have become familiar with. It has become a part of their lives and has been for many years.

Recognize the Gifts that Life Brings and Be Grateful

Unlike many who are suffering around the world, we are blessed to have the simplest things in life – like food, water, shelter, and instant payday loans to help during temporary financial shortages. We should never take for granted what we have and be thankful each day for even the littlest things we have in life.
