- Professional Freelance Writing Position

Reliable Freelance Blogging Income
There are hundreds of sites that offer to trade a chance to earn money for your hard work. Not everyone wants to take a chance. Our professional blogging program is just right for the person who has a high level of skill and wants to write articles on a part-time basis. If you meet the requirements of this program, you are going to get paid. You don’t have to chance whether or not you will make an income, like many other incentive opportunities online.
If you are not interested in high-level blogging and just want to trade your articles for links back to your site, check out our Free Content Exchange page.
How Much Does Article-Writing Pay?
You will be paid $25 per article plus a bonus for well performing articles. If it takes you a half hour to write an article, that’s $50 an hour. Of course if you take an hour, that’s $25 an hour. Most articles, however, take longer if they are well-written and we know that. Because of this, we have instituted the bonus program to reward those who put a little more time into their articles.

How Much Is the Bonus for Great Blog Posts?
Some articles do well and others do not. We have a formula that we will share for free with you that will provide you with that extra edge that makes the difference between the well-performing article and a great article that gets zero traffic. One way we measure bonuses is on the number of other sites that quote your article as an authority. That usually means they will link to your article somewhere in theirs, in order to use your reputable article to back up their article’s assertions.
How to Measure Bonuses for Article Performance
There is a quick and easy way to measure the number of sites linking to your article. After we show you how, you will feel more confident in our bonus program because you will be able to calculate your bonus yourself and cross-reference our payout figures. Not many sites teach their writers how to measure the popularity of their articles in order to calculate how much of a bonus they may be getting.
Go to Yahoo Site Explorer
This is a tool that counts the back links to a specific page on a Web site. You will get paid a bonus of 3.5 cents per back link. We market your articles and average 10 links per article. That means your bonus will be calculated for the number of links above 10. So, if your article gets 20 links, then your bonus would be 35 cents for the 10 extra links.
- Click here to see an example
- Replace the URL address in the search bar with the address of your article.
- Click on the button that says “Inlinks.”
- Select the drop-down next to the “Inlinks” button and choose “Except from this domain.”
In this example, the back link count was 44 at the time of writing this page. That would have equated to an $11.90 bonus on top of your $25.
Payment Schedule and Expectations
You will normally get paid every week on Monday or Tuesday. You will be paid $25 for each of your articles but the bonus is not paid right away. We let the article sit for 30 days before calculating the bonus. There is a bonus maximum of $175. That means the cap payout per article is $200 total.
In the past, we have found that it takes Yahoo a couple of weeks to find all the sites linking to your article. Therefore, if we were to pay the bonus earlier, it would be significantly reduced. We will pay the bonus when it becomes due and hopefully just add it to that week’s normal payout for the articles you keep producing.
What Is Required of Writers for the Freelance Blogging Position?
You can write as few or as many articles as you want. They will have to be a minimum of 500 words. They will also have to be in perfect English with no spelling or punctuation errors. We do not accept articles to this program that require an edit of any kind. They cannot be on topics such as religion, sex or other taboo subjects. They have to be politically neutral, and cannot promote or slander any one side with the intent of affecting public opinion of the target political group, association, person, etc. All articles must be in a unique format. You must include an article title of 65 characters or less, a description of 160 characters or less, 12 or less tags, and headings between each paragraph.
The Professional articles must be written in Associated Press (AP) style; they must be a researched, authoritative, substantiative, professional article and they must be written on either breaking news or a financial topic. The likelihood of acceptance will increase if the author can apply their own ideas to current events and back it up with some research. Repackaging a news article is not optimal.

Unique Form and Style Required for Articles
Pay close attention to this page. See how the paragraphs are not too long and they are frequently broken up by subheadings. Notice that the main topic of the page is regularly repeated in different variations of the phrase that mean the same thing. This format has been proven to be pleasing to readers who want to skim articles before committing to read them.
Generally, the average person will not commit to reading an article before they know they are interested. Most people scan an article first and make a quick decision as to whether they are interested or not. This gives you the opportunity to convey a message through your subheadings and your use of formatting such as bold and italics.
