What Type of Articles Do We Buy
We are looking for well written articles on financially related topics. We are a financial news blog and are looking for newsy, informative articles. We are looking for new, fresh content.
Specifically we are looking for articles reporting on financial or economic news, money making, money management, money saving or budgeting tips, lists of things to do to modify your home in a money saving fashion, and articles on protecting your credit and managing your home in a money-saving manner.
We have found that lists, such as top 10 lists, are bringing in more views. Please remember that the theme of our blog is News & Finance Education. We are not looking for financial “stories” but rather, articles that are educational, informative or newsworthy.
Article Requirements
Articles must be politically and religiously neutral. There can be no prejudice or derogatory language or ideas conveyed in the articles. We do not print articles that contain information on products or topics that are illegal, immoral, unethical or that deal with drugs, or gambling or alcohol in excess. We only accept new information and ideas.
All articles must be original content and not published anywhere else. We have a system that searches the net and checks for similarly written content.
Cite your sources! If you quote someone, in your article please state exactly who said it and where the quote came from. We will return articles with quotes that are not cited.
Price of the articles
The minimum we pay for an article is $15 then if it is accepted. With the calculations and traffic, we go up from there. The amount is calculated by a complicated mathematical formula that factors in total unique traffic to the article for a 7 day period and the total number of unique back links at the time of payment calculation.
For those who submit articles and whose articles develop a readership or attract a significant amount of other sites linking to our own, we then may pay more to motivate that author to produce more content. It is advisable to promote your articles to get paid more. Click here to read example articles on loans and financial education.
Article submission requirements
Because of IRS requirements, we need to have a signed W-8 (International writers) or W-9 (U.S. writers) on file for each writer. We send a 1099 to you at the end of the year if you live in the U.S. and receive more than $600 in income from our program. We do not report information to any country outside the U.S. If you live outside the U.S., you will be responsible to pay any taxes or fees for your own country’s reporting requirements.
Before submitting your first article, if you are a U.S. writer, please go to http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf for a W-9 or, if you are not a U.S. writer, go to http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf for a W-8.

- You should add as many helping words as possible such as: instant, online, faxless, no fax, no faxing, no credit check, without credit checks, same day, direct deposit, quick, fast, easy, secure, safe, today, cash, money, lenders, lending, etc.
- Example: if you pick “payday loans” keep this as your target keyword throughout the article. Use whichever keyword you pick 5 times in your article including your title. Modify the keyword by adding the helping words. - The 160-character maximum summary: Along with your article, you must include your summary. When people do a search for a certain topic, the search engines list different articles for the user to choose from. The different articles display the 65 character maximum title and this description. This is your sales pitch. This description is what you are using to get people to click to view your article. Remember, your pay goes up the more your article is viewed. This must contain your keyword.
- The 5 places to use the keyword are:
- In the maximum 65 character title
- In the first sentence of the first paragraph
- In the middle of the article, somewhere
- Within the last paragraph
- In the 160-character maximum summary
- Pen name. You submit a pen name the first time you submit an article. The pen name should be a real name, i.e. Samantha Jones. It does not have to be your real name, but it does have to look like a real name. We can no longer accept a pen name like “Payday Loan Writer.” Please use the same pen name every time you submit an article. Please do not use multiple author names, pen names, email addresses or PayPal accounts. If we discover you are using multiple accounts, we will no longer be able to accept articles from you.
- Profile. The first time you submit an article, we will require a short profile. If you go to our website and click on any of our authors, you should find a profile as an example. It doesn’t have to say a lot, but does have to let the reader know a little about you. You do not have to re-submit your profile after we accept your first article.
- Along with your article, you must include:
- A W-8 or W-9 before submission of your first article.
- Your pen name
- The first article should include your profile.
- Your email address and the PayPal or Google Checkout numbers to deposit funds into if the article is accepted.
- The article title, 65 characters or less, that grabs the reader’s attention
- The 525+ word article

There are some technical aspects to the articles that must be followed that are unique to our site. The articles have to meet a certain standard of professionalism as well as clarity of thought. The articles must be written in accurate English.

What type of writers work the best?
Many of the best writers we have found are just regular people expressing common sense thoughts and ideas while talking about current events. The more technical the articles the less “regular” people will enjoy reading them. Don’t feel you have to be overly qualified to get your articles accepted.

Do we buy every article submitted?
Because we pay per article, we retain the right to require as many revisions as necessary to make the article acceptable to our standards. Submitting an article does not entitle you to payment nor does it create any type of agreement with us. The articles that we choose to publish are the articles you will be paid for. If we reject an article from our purchase selection process, then you will be notified and given the reasons. You will be able to resubmit the article as many times as necessary in order to make it acceptable for purchase unless it was rejected as duplicate content or for illegal, immoral, or for other contractual reasons.

What are my rights for purchased articles?
Once an article is purchased by us we then hold exclusive rights to the article and may edit, revise, and publish the written content in any manner that we wish. Once the written content is submitted to us, the one who submitted it to us grants total and complete ownership of the article to us without restriction or license.

Can I be from a country outside of the U.S.?
It is fine if you live outside of the U.S. but you have to be able to write to a U.S. audience in perfect English. It is O.K. to write about anything, worldwide, as long as a U.S. audience would be interested in it and as long as you follow our guidelines and use our keywords. You have to have a PayPal or Google Checkout account to deposit funds into. You will have to complete a W-8. Please see the section above called, “Article Submission Requirements.”
Right to request written declarations
We have the right to require a written declaration from anyone who submits an article that the article is submitted for purchase lawfully and not in violation of any other agreement or the rights of any other third party. Violations of copy right laws or any other law, regulation, or rule immediately nullifies any assumed obligation to purchase or pay for that written content.
Failure to comply
Any failure to comply with these rules causes the immediate forfeit of all rights and all money due or owed for purchased content regardless if it is from submissions in the past, present or future. Submitting articles in violation of our rules or any law or contract entitles us to immediate reimbursement via the PayPal system.

How many articles within a given time period will they accept. In other words, if I was to submit ten articles per week, would they accept all ten?

To be fair to all of the authors, we read one submission per author at a time. We may or may not be able to accept all of the articles. Articles requiring no edits are bound to be accepted faster than articles requiring more edits. As much as we would love to accept every article submitted, articles requiring too many edits cannot be accepted at all. However, if the articles are that good, we may be able to accept 10 or more a week.
If I had my article published on this site. I wanted to know if I am allowed to use the same article on some other writing site as well. I wanted to include the article content and the link as well to drive traffic to my work.

You will need to write from the point of view of an American, and write about things that Americans can identify with. I submitted an article that reflected life in my own country (not the US, of course), and my article was rejected for these reasons. I was encouraged to rewrite it, to be fair.

And really, it wasn’t any lengthy elaboration on it – just a single sentence, actually. I might’ve written it quickly, and devoid of emotion, but I was merely trying to help – after all, you mentioned in this comment area to all of us that it was a problem you were having, so I tossed out a tiny bit of information.
Just a small, single sentence to help out, like anyone else would have done, that’s all.

As far as “providing a sample”, there is a WHOLE BUNCH of article examples anyone can find through the link at the end of the second paragraph of this page.

Yes, when you get approved, you get an e-mail link to view one of the places your approved article is shown… it will be on a page of this website, and you’ll see your title and part of the first paragraph, with a link to click to read the full article, which takes you to your articles very own page ^_^
As for promoting, you can do a few things like, e-mail your friends to check it out if they’re interested, and get a few views of it, or you can post “bulletins” to your article in social sites such as MySpace, Facebook, and all the others – this sends messages to all those on your friends lists and creates multiple links to your article, which in turn beefs up “search engine love”. It’ll make your article stand out more on the web, and increase its value.
Oh, crap – I just now, this very second, noticed your other post which says you just found out about the former point! ppffthth I’m an idiot! ahahahaha Sorry! >. ^_^).

…no need to get worried, as there is no-one here who wants to rob you.
When you submit an article, you need to remember that these people get tons of them, and they go through them by hand to make sure they all meet the proper requirements to be accepted. This can take about 3-5 days or so (as mentioned a few times on this page).
Once they review your article, they will send you an e-mail letting you know whether your article has been accepted or not (as mentioned a few times on this page).
The flat pay for your article is never less than $15.00, but due to their posting ads to draw readers, then your article gets more exposure and earns more for you – the average being generally $20-$25 or so. You are encouraged to spread the word about your article, using e-mail to friends, or postiong bulletins on social sites such as MySpace or Facebook etc., in order to create links to your article which again, can make it earn more for you (as mentiond a few times on this page).
Once your article has been accepted, there will be a waiting period of about a week, to see if your article is worth this (or more), and then an assessment is made in that regard. A few days after this, you receive your pay directly into your account. (as mentioned a few times on this page).
Some of us here have forgone promoting it ourselves, just to see how well our articles can generate money solely on the efforts of those we’ve written them for, and found that we’ve gotten around $20.00 or more. Not bad, for merely typing and doing nothing else about it. So basically, from typing to getting paid is roughly about a couple weeks’ time (as mentioned a few times on this page).
All in all, it’s a wonderfully legitimate way to type for 20 minutes and get paid $20 bucks or more on average, or much more if you promote yourself. No-one is out to steal your work, rest assured. Give it a little time, and you will see. You’ve done all the rest of the work, now all you have to do is wait. Once you get you payment, start typing regularly, and from a couple of weeks after that, you’ll be getting paid regularly.

Wow, okay – I guess it seems the majority of people here are simply not reading the content of this page, nor all of the comment posts.
And I’m not singling anyone out here. There are quite a few this applies to.
As mentioned on this page, including a number of times in these comment posts, payment is made through either Google Checkout, or through PayPal – your choice.
While the *average* pay per article works out to be about $25.00, this is based on the base pay being no less than $15.00 per article, plus more, according to how much exposure your article gets.
While they do some minimal ad placement on their end for your article(s) to gain exposure/readership, you are encouraged to draw readers to them on your part as well, either through e-mailing family and friends about your work, blogging about it, posting “bulletins” to your lists of friends in social sites such as MySpace, Facebook, etc., or any way to create links that point back to your article for search engines to take notice of it and index/rank your work.
I have done absolutely none of this on my part, in order to get a feel for the amount I might get, and I got close to 20 bucks.
Upon receiving an e-mail, alerting you of their acceptance of your article, a waiting period of a week or more is used to monitor how much more than the base pay your article is worth – a few days after, you receive your pay. After almost 2 weeks from when my article got accepted, I received my money directly into my PayPal account.
This is how they can pay anyone in the world, internationally. While I am Native American (from the Blackfoot, Mohawk and Cree tribes), I am way out here in Japan, and I received my pay just nicely, with no problems.
These people are legitimate, they pay generously enough, and I for one am quite satisfied with their treatment.
So there you have it. If you submit 5 or 6 acceptable articles every day, you could make $100.00 or more per day doing this, plain and simple.
I sincerely hope that future readers *read through* everything here from here on out. After all, those who simply flash their eyes at the title of this page and just leave a comment asking the obvious without reading the pre-provided answers in the content text, are obviously sorely missing the research talents of any article writer of even the most modest mediocrity.

Especially obvious should be the subheading, in LARGE TYPE and in BOLD, is FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
It seems rather paradoxical that I bother to type this, for the very people who need this to be told to are the type who will never see this. However, just so that it cannot be said that it was never said, here it is.
If all this information continues to be lost from those who do not open their eyes, then let such circumstance serve as mild humor for those of us with eyes opened

The only way they pay is through your Google checkout number (for information on this, please go to; https://checkout.google.com/buyer/tour.html ), OR through a PayPal account (you can get one at; http://www.paypal.com ).
Therefore, if you have neither of these, then payment will not be possible.
Articles cannot be properly submitted without this information, and would not be able to be accepted… as in the submission form on this page, it states; “In order to recieve payment for an article submission, you must submit a valid Paypal or Google Checkout identification number.”

To those who keep asking “what subject do we write on?”, the answer (which can be found on this page), is *anything*, as long as it is politically/religiously NEUTRAL.

Just tried this out. Seems well and good enough so far…. no idea how long to wait for a response, though. But if they want newsworthy, that generally means time-sensitive, so time will tell.
Their submission form seems different from when I last saw it. Just slightly confusing – there’s a fiweld to input the “Main Article Title – Long”, but then it says “65 characters or less”, so it’s for the “second title”… but no place to input the 22 word max title, so I had to throw it into the main body field.
The also have a field to put the first subheading, but none of the others – so they have the first one in a single separate field, as well as in along with the main article body.
Time will also tell if this little puzzle gets me denied because I didn’t dance the right steps, but this all so far seems on the up and up. Heard no complaints so far.
