No, Jon Gosselin isn’t fired, but it seems he’d certainly be glad if he were. Popular opinion at the time of Jon and Kate’s divorce filing was that “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ should just shut down. Or at lease change its name. Well, there is apparently a shakeup in the works now, as TMZ says Jon Gosselin is trying to start up a different reality show.

He’s also doing things that make TLC very angry, such as wearing clothing with designer labels all over so the network has to blur out all of his clothes. I guess because he doesn’t need a cash advance to get expensive clothes anymore he feels it’s his right. TLC seems to disagree. Here’s the scoop from TV OverMind:

Jon seems to be working overtime lately when it comes to pissing off TLC by dressing up tip to toe in designer duds, prompting the network to blur 90% of his body. Now word comes from TMZ that Jon has been negotiating to appear on another reality show – the negotiations themselves are probably a violation of his TLC contract – called “Divorced Dad’s Club.”

Say what? A new reality show?

Apparently TMZ has reason to believe that Jon Gosselin getting fired is exactly what he wants because he might be able to make more money on a new project. The project would still have cameras on him 24-7, but he wouldn’t have to play second string to Kate anymore. TMZ reports that Jon Gosselin is “wheeling and dealing” for a new reality show.

Jon Gosselin wants to be fired because he is talking to producers about a new show featuring celebrity divorced dads. Rumor has it he’s been talking to Michael Lohan as well as Lindsay Lohan’s manager Mike Heller and the guy who is producing the show, which has the working title “The Divorced Dads Club.” Even if Jon Gosselin doesn’t get fired from TLC, production company Endemol says “Divorced Dads Club” will be a reality anyway.

Why does Jon Gosselin need to get fired?

TV OverMind makes a good point about why Jon Gosselin should not be working on developing a new reality show:

What would the legal ramifications be for Jon if he were to willfully break his contract with TLC to the detriment of their show. I’m no lawyer, but if Jon Diva’d out because he was scheming to pad his bank account wouldn’t TLC have legal recourse?

The answer, of course, is yes — unless Jon Gosselin gets fired. But of course TLC is not going to fire Jon Gosselin because he’s doing something they could sue him for. The network will probably just wait until he does break his contract; that way TLC won’t be financially liable to Jon Gosselin.

Money troubles

Apparently, the whole Jon Gosselin getting fired thing has been a subject on the minds of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ producers for a while. TV OverMind says:

Turns out he quickly blew his share of the show money last season, and this season was cut out of financial control by a court order after he was found to be ‘irresponsible.’

Yikes. I guess that explains why Jon Gosselin wants to get fired.

Rob Newbiggin to become Mercedes

Rob Newbiggin, a 44-year-old professional boxer, has decided to undergo a sex change operation. He says after the surgery is complete, he will change his name to Mercedes.

So will Mercedes be a boxer? She’ll certainly try. Rob Newbiggin says after he becomes a she, Mercedes will also pursue careers in modeling, painting and interior design.

Rob Newbiggin experiences support, rejection

Lucky for Rob Newbiggin, who has been married to Emma for three years, his wife is very supportive and they will stay together after the surgery is complete.

Unfortunately, though, not everyone has been so accepting. Rob Newbiggin says he must move from the town he lives in because he is being “treated like a freak.” People yell at him from their cars, and he feels the newspaper in Southport ran a negative story about him that caused a lot of the backlash.

No small fee

I don’t think Rob Newbiggin would be able to cover the cost of his surgery with a no fax payday loan. Gender reassignment surgery involves several different cosmetic surgeries that are quite costly.

Many people go through gender reassignment in phases because it is so costly and also because some of the surgeries are major and take a toll on the body.

Rob Newbiggins history

The Southport Visiter, in Rob Newbiggin’s hometown, summarized his past and the specific condition that causes him to want to have a female body:

Born in September 1964 in Pennsylvania, USA, although he had the physical characteristics of a man, he had high levels of estrogen in his body so his gender could not be classified as either male or female.

He said: “I was born intersexual to South American parents who just left me, I got moved round all sorts of foster homes and adoption agencies. I ended up in Canada.

“My adoptive mum and dad emigrated there from Manchester. My dad was in the Canadian Army and they couldn’t have children, they adopted me when I was about two and half years old.”
Rob’s father, Ted Newbiggin, was in the Canadian Army for ten years and the family moved back to England, settling in Southport, when Rob was four years old.

Moving on

Rob Newbiggin says that though he has lost many friends and it has been a difficult time, he feels the surgery and the life he will lead after it is over will be completely worth it.

“At the end of it I’ll be the woman I want to be and I’ll have done a lot of good, but it will be a huge sacrifice because I’m going to have to leave,” Rob Newbiggin said.

On parenthood

Rob Newbiggin has three children, and he did have something to say about going through a sex change as a parent.

“While I’m going through the transformation my kids will not see me as Mercedes. That wouldn’t be fair for them to see me like that.

“I’m going to wait until everything is completed and then Emma and I will gradually introduce them to me as Mercedes.”

…

“When it comes to my kids it doesn’t matter whether I’m a mother or a father as long as I’m a good parent.

“And I think I’ll be a better parent as a woman. I haven’t provided enough financial stability in my male life for my children.”

A payday loan recreation

I was elevated

I needed a payday loan to keep a love spark alive. I came here to get it. Here’s the story:

Sometimes, you just have to take a chance.

Here comes the off ramp, it’s time to decide. Stay on the highway and keep speeding along in the same direction, or throw caution to the wind. I opted for the latter and went for a latte. That’s not what I needed the payday loan for, mind you.

And where’s the risk in that? There isn’t any. Plenty of people go to the bookstore, get a caffeinated drink and graze the newsstand.

Fine, let’s start again.

I dated a few girls during my formative years. Some of them were nice, others not so much. But for me, there was always “the one who got away.” We knew we were right for each other, but neither one of us had the guts to say it. The intense silences were deafening. But she went to school out of state and we stopped communicating. I figured that was it, time to move on. Looking back, I was adrift, secretly marking the days inside, hoping for a time that might never come.

Heading down the freeway, it’s six years later.

It’s late and I’m tired. My shift is over and I’m screaming down the road toward the place where I lay my head. I have my daily blinders on as usual, but something inside tells me I should pull off at the local mall, because the bookstore is still open. Sit down and enjoy a drink, I think. Read a magazine. Relax.

As I’m reading, I run into one of my friends. He’s lonely, he’s looking to make a connection with a girl at the coffee shop. Any girl, I think. Thing is, he doesn’t know how to go about it. He’s lost, just like I’m lost.

We talk for a while, and then I look at my watch. Time to go.

Good luck, friend.

There’s a cool breeze as I walk back to my car. It almost makes me forget to go around the strange man who is panhandling on one side of the parking lot. I duck under a tree branch, sidestep a puddle and make it into the driver’s seat of my car. My door is almost closed, when I hear someone calling my way. At first, I think it’s the panhandler, and I’m not going to turn around. But once I hear my name, everything stops.

It’s her, it’s me, and this time, we aren’t letting go.

Time peels back, as great waves stand on high, suspended in anticipation. Words fly like birds from Aphrodite’s oyster. We kiss as if for the first time, and in one fall of the baton, music crashes around our ears and we drown together in our own ocean.

It was amazing.

Now, we’re married. We celebrate not only our wedding anniversary, but our “rediscovery” day. And as a special gift, I wanted to recreate our meeting for my love, all the way down to what I was wearing. Unfortunately, the date snuck up on me, and I didn’t have everything. I still needed contact lenses, rather than the glasses I currently wear.

However, I didn’t have the cash or vision coverage to take care of it. Needless to say, I had to act fast. That’s why I gave this site a try for a payday loan. I applied online the day before our special anniversary, and by the morning of the following day, I had the money I needed. Our meeting went off without a hitch, and things are better than they’ve ever been for us. I’d thank the people who run this business, but that would sound corny, wouldn’t it? I’ve been doing that all along.

Hi. My name is Amy, and I live in Santa Clarita, California. I am a single mom with a 16-year-old son, James, who goes to Valencia High School. Even though I have a nice administrative office job at The Master’s College, sometimes we have to be very careful with our budget. Particularly since I’ve been trying to repair credit fast. My ex has generally been pretty good about making child support, but, well, there’s a reason that he’s my ex: reliability was never one of his strong suits.

But here’s the deal… I needed unsecured loans

So it was August, and the first summer semester was going to begin for James in just a few days. He’s a proud Valencia Viking, and it’s important to him that he fits in. I don’t have the budget for all the newest fashion trends, but I indulge him when I can. However, here’s something that came to me completely out of left field – and at a completely inappropriate time. James comes up to me and says, “Hey, mom. I need some collared shirts. It’s a new school rule or something.”

A new school rule?

Or something? Wonderful! I’d just spent all the money I’d set aside in our budget for school clothes, I wasn’t due to be paid until the following week and my ex was in between jobs. Normally I’d use my credit card in such a situation, but since I was shooting for a clean credit report after having trouble a year ago (and the card was nearly maxed), I didn’t want to push it.

At least he didn’t have to pop his collar

I understand Valencia wanting their students to look professional; once they reach the business world, it’s something they’ll have to get used to quick. But COME ON… did Vikings have to wear collared shirts went they sailed the seas, discovered new lands and sacked villages? I would think the button-ups would be an occupational hazard. God willing, I needed to come up with some extra cash before my son became a target for both school administrators and the mean kids who want to knock him down a peg. My credit report history didn’t need any more dings, so I had to figure something out fast.

Small installments-Perfect!

I’d used an unsecured loan in the past, so I contacted the company I’d gone through before for more information. Guess what? Not only are small installments right up my alley, but the loan would not register on my credit check! I applied and received approval in what seemed like just a few minutes, and then the money hit my account before the end of the day! I had a few nice collared shirts for James to wear to school the following day. To the representative whose help and kind words made a tough situation that much easier, I’d like to say “Thank you” and “God bless.” I feel like I can breathe again, and the payments are going to fit into our budget without difficulty. I can continue to repair credit fast by putting my credit card back in the drawer. Out little crisis is a thing of the past, thanks to unsecured loans!

The way I see it, I’ve earned it. I moved to North Dakota about two years ago. I’ve moved more than 20 times, and every time it has been a financial set-back. So I expected it. This time, I managed to get a job – granted, a low-paying one – within a few days. But just 16 months later I was laid off. I have a doctorate degree and tons of work experience, but it took me more than six months to find another low-paying job. Still, I made it. And I made it just in time. Real estate taxes are due this week.

I live hand-to-mouth, so it’s not saying much to say that I did not incur any debt while I was unemployed. But I did manage to stay in the black. The fun stuff I do is free. I don’t spend any money on entertainment. I don’t even spend money on the new “necessaries” like television and internet or cell phone service. So I made it through unemployment with my mortgage current and without any of my utilities being cut off. But I made it by the skin of my teeth, and now I’m feeling the effects.

I can pay my real estate taxes, almost to the dollar, with the pay check I’ll get today. But I have no financial cushion and all my utility payments are due. Toward the end of my unemployment, I was having to push all my utility payments – gas, electric, phone, water and trash — to the absolute deadline, and now they’re all one payment behind and it won’t be long before I start getting cut-off notices.

I’m lucky I got a job just when I did

When you have no other source of income and no financial cushion, unemployment has a cumulative effect. You’re okay for the first couple months, and then money gets tighter and tighter. I was hanging by a thread toward the end of my unplanned vacation, and now, a month and a half later, I’m feeling the effects. Then there’s the mortgage and car insurance due next week. I’m pretty good at robbing Peter to pay Paul, but I’m tired of this. And really, I’m worried about eating for the next month.

I’ll admit I’m a little skeptical about getting a payday loan. But I know that it costs $39 to bounce a check or make a debit charge on insufficient funds. And I know that within a month, I’d really be struggling not to do that. I also know that the only way I can make my mortgage payment this month is to pay it two weeks late and take a $25 late fee hit. I’d also have to pay my mini-storage bill two weeks late and take a $10 hit there. I’d have to pay my car insurance a few days late, to the tune of $10 again. The poorer you get, the poorer you get! So I’m going to pay for a loan rather than pay late charges across the board. I survived unemployment, and it’s time to get this monkey off my back.

A story from a payday-loan using friend…

I’ll step aside for an April Fool’s moment and let my friend Randy give you his payday loan testimonial. Enjoy!

“I am a rogue taxidermist…”

That’s right, a rogue taxidermist. Call me Randy. Sometimes, I’m also an anthropomorphic taxidermist. But maybe I’m getting ahead of myself.

Do you know what taxidermy is? OK, here goes. The term is derived from Greek, for “moving skin.” According to Wikipedia, taxidermy is “the art of mounting or reproducing animals for display or for other sources of study.” It’s popular with hunters and natural history museums, but tanners and upholsterers have also played a role in the craft’s evolution.

Me, I love recreating natural-looking scenes. A dog looking with eternal love upon its master. A great bear, crackling with potential energy, suspended just moments before the strike. A wild manticore, tail bristling, wings ready to loft it skyward, gaping lion’s jaw opened in blasting roar.

Playing dress-up

Wait. A manticore? That’s where my specialty comes in – rogue taxidermy. Because fantasy creatures deserve a place in the den as much as lions, tigers and bears. That’s what rogue taxidermists do. Makes the house look like a mythological circus, like the traveling sideshow from “The Last Unicorn” or Dr. Seuss’s story “If I Ran the Zoo.” Sometimes I combine my rogue side with a more anthropomorphic impulse, dressing dragons in tux and tails or a kraken in Dockers Casuals. I love this stuff!

A funny thing happened…

Recently, I ran into some trouble. Everything was firing on all cylinders, as far as the quality of the specimens I was producing was concerned. I decided I was good enough to open up a museum and charge admission. A buddy of mine works in marketing at a local firm, and he helped me develop a mini ad campaign that fit my budget. However, it wasn’t a terribly hard sell, despite what you may think. My town is small, and the folk are eccentric. Moreover, since the town is small and located near the Interstate, a museum of fantastic creatures would make a good tourist stop.

Two days before I was scheduled to open, the strange boy I hired to clean the place forgot to lock up one night. Everything was intact that morning, save for one thing: all of the artisan glass eyes from my creatures had been removed! And to think, I had just used the last of my extra cash to buy extra soda for the grand opening.

Egads!

I didn’t know what to do. Who wants to see an eyeless griffin? A sightless djinn? Nobody, that’s who! I simply couldn’t see how I’d be able to come up with enough money to have Jeremiah at the glass shop make more for me at the drop of a hat. We’re friends, but I couldn’t ask him to do something like that pro bono. Word travels fast in a town of this size.

I was stuck, until I heard a jingle on the radio about getting a payday loan. As I was still pulling regular money working graveyard at the local A & P, I was able to qualify for a cash advance! In no time, I had enough money in my account to rush over to Jerry’s glassmaking shop to have new glass eyes made. I just finished gluing in the last set of eyes before my first museum customers of the day arrived.

Eye can see clearly now

Thanks to a payday loan, my grand opening was a success. Later on, I discovered that the cleaning boy hadn’t taken the eyes at all. It was Reptile Farm Larry, my biggest competitor among the roadside attractions in our town. He hid the beauties inside a mounted gator (greenhorns say “stuffed,” but that’s exactly how you’ll identify yourself as a yokel in my line of work). I know this because my cleaning boy also works for him, and what’s an unlocked door between friends?

Do you remember me from last year … and the year before…? It’s going to take a Payday Loan to thaw me out. January is the coldest month of the year in the Northern half of the planet.

I am financially frozen every January, ever since I seriously started using money, and this year is the biggest freeze ever. December was great and we really enjoyed ourselves. We went to the usual round of parties, the office, our families, then at our friends and finally at the neighbors. A good time was had by all. The wine and beer flowed, the presents made the rounds until everyone was satisfied at what they ended up with. My kids did exceptionally well from Julie and me but it cost plenty… Ever priced new bicycles for teenagers?

The office, as usual, closed between Christmas and New Year so I had a chance to catch up with the household chores and maintenance jobs and by the 30th of the month, I leaned back feeling pretty pleased with myself. I had a whopping overdraft at the bank, but December was bonus month and December 31st was bonus day and I was almost there.

No news is bad news

Image via Wikipedia

The last day of the year passed quietly. I checked emails, collected the kids from school and generally sat around drinking coffee in front of the computer and waiting for the bonus announcement to arrive. It has done this faithfully for the past 12 years or so. It comes in the form of a joyous looking email. Another cup of coffee and more waiting. No incoming mail. Now black thoughts started invading my one-track brain. What if…? No bonus? Is that possible? But it was a very good year. Then my mind moved to possible solutions. A Payday Loan solution?

I have used this a few times before, always in the month of the anniversary of the car purchase. That’s the month they hit me with the license, the insurance and the annual service all in the same couple of weeks. I used a Payday Loan to get through that and it worked pretty well. Could I use a Payday Loan to get me through January this time?

Bad news confirmed

I was right. No bonuses for 2008. Yes, it was a record year but everything collapsed in December. Financial chaos, stock exchange melt-down, back to 1929 and all those fancy meaningless terms they harvested from the newspapers.

So I am about to apply for a Payday Loan to help settle some of the debts incurred by holiday cheer. I am sure the company will still be here at the end of January and will pay the salaries so I can re-pay the loan. What I need to check now is how much I can borrow and if I can renew it for another month on the due date so that I pay it back over more than one month.

Good news at last

Yes, the Payday Loan will help out in every way it can. They are courteous, friendly and eager to be of assistance. How nice it is to know that there is an alternative to fighting with the bank. Pity about the bonus though.

I thought the financial tsunami had passed me by. I was not involved in mortgages or the stock exchange. I had a secure job. Then it hit me, sweeping me along with it. I was lucky to remember a flier I had received about payday loans.

It Took a Melt-Down to Get Me a Payday Loan

The economic downturn will never touch me, I thought. This is the story of how I was saved by payday loans. Here I am, ordinary citizen of the world, nobody special and not the inventor of the wheel!

I live in the mid-west in a modest home with my wife, three kids, a dog and a mortgage. I am an engineer working for a good company and most of the time involved in interesting projects. On the weekends I spend time with my kids. Sometimes the whole family goes out for a picnic and we eat a lot and have a great time. I not only enjoy my life, I love my life. I wake up in the morning wanting to go to work, unlike some of the other guys in the office.

The earth tremor

The first signs that something was happening were news articles in the local papers. I eat early, before the rest of the family so I read the paper while I eat. The articles were all about sub-prime mortgages. I had to look this up on Google to understand it. “A financial term popularized by the media during the “credit crunch” of 2007 and involves financial institutions providing credit …” I shrugged. Doesn’t affect me, I decided, as I buttered a piece of toast. Off I went to work, happy that there were no waves around me. In the office I was told that some firings would be announced. I would not be among them. I was also not affected by the credit crunch. With Mary working at the hospital as a senior theater nurse, we didn’t even have an overdraft.

The stock market fall-in

I heard about this on the train going home. The guys were crying about how much they had lost in a single day. I smiled. I do not play in the stock exchange. At home there was a letter from the bank announcing that my mortgage rate was going up and the interest on my savings was going down. There was also an ad from a Personal Money Store offering a Payday Loan service. I smiled and shrugged. Who needs it?

The edge of the wave touches me

The General Manager called the staff together the next day and informed us that the Harley Project had been shelved. “All engineers working on this project will receive letters at the end of the day.” I was working on it, but only in the area of the security systems, almost as a sub-contractor. “You have enough other work to keep you busy, so you remain,” he said with a smile, shaking my hand.

At home that evening, Mary told me that the oven in the kitchen had blown out and that the repairman had quoted approximately $1,000 for the repair. “We have to eat,” I smiled as I poured myself a scotch. The following day I received a demand for some unpaid taxes that I thought had gone away. I nodded, but did not smile this time. Mary reminded me that we have 3 weddings to attend, all neighbors. “We have to go Tom, and there are the presents…”

The wave gets me

Now it was too much and I couldn’t cope with it. The bank refused to speak to me and then I remembered the flyer from Personal Money Store offering payday loans. I called and the rest is history. I am a confirmed fan.

Payday Loans Can Help

There are many reasons why you might use quick payday loans. An unexpected bill can arrive at an inappropriate time, or maybe your car breaks down and you won’t be able to get to and from work because of the lack of extra funds to cover the cost. People use quick payday loans in emergency situations. Not only can they save you money by helping you avoid bounced checks and late fees on a bill, but they can help get you out of a heartrending, disastrous situation. I would like to share a story of a really great friend of mine.

Best Friends Forever

Megan grew up in a loving home in Parker, Colorado. Although she was raised in a family that did not indulge in many of the material luxuries in life, such as fancy cars and mansion-like homes, she was the happiest kid on the block. Megan, along with her two sisters and a brother, were the most polite and well-behaved children I could remember during my childhood. They were thankful and treasured every little thing they had. I met Megan in my second grade class and became friends immediately. We went everywhere together; school, church, and every recreation event. For almost two years, for extra money, we even waitressed at the same restaurant. I became a part of her family as much as she became a part of mine.

We Said Goodbye and Went Our Separate Ways

Megan’s father was a school bus driver and her mother worked as a housekeeper. Although both her parents had never completed high school, education was a must in their family. Not only were they polite and well-behaved, they were the brightest kids I knew. Come to think of it, Megan was always my tutor during my high school days. If I had a question or was unsure of something regarding any school assignment, I was sure I’d find peace of mind through Megan and her family. We went our separate ways after high school. Megan was offered a scholarship to attend one of the best schools, and considering the fact she came from a family that was in need of an extra cash flow, she was thrilled to be offered such an opportunity. We tried to stay in contact and exchange on-line memos as much as possible. After a period of time, I received an unexpected call from her, excitingly announcing her engagement with “the sweetest guy” she’d ever met. After her marriage, our relationship was put on a complete halt – until our reunion last year. I would never have guessed what she had endured.

What Really Happened?

A couple months into her marriage things got pretty ugly. It turned out “Joe” was not the man she thought he’d be. She was his prisoner, restricted from the world. Fortunately, she was able to keep a part-time job. Since she was cut off from her family, friends and her personal assets, her situation only got worse. It breaks my heart just thinking of it. She detailed the terrible aspects of her marriage (which I prefer not to enclose) and how she found the strength to escape.

Hope, Recovery, and Quick Payday Loans

Bottom-line is I’m glad Megan is doing better now. She would not be here today if she hadn’t escaped when she did. Her scars are still visible, but if it weren’t for the help of loyal friends, their support and a couple of quick payday loans, she probably would not have had the chance for her wounds to heal. Payday loans have saved many people from heading towards a tragedy and have also provided assistance to recovery – even with something as devastating as Megan’s.

Payday loans are a uniquely debated topic. It is very interesting to me that so many people seem to have blind hatred for cash advance lenders specifically. What is it that creates so much anger and animosity? Is it the fees that seem high if you look at them on a yearly interest rate basis? Very doubtful. I, being a continuous user of this type of personal loans, am somewhat puzzled. I do have a theory though.

Have you ever lent money to a friend? What about a shirt or some other type of clothing? Let me ask you this simple question, “are your friends always happy to give it back?” That is a profound question because it digs right down into the psychological reason why people believe the sponsored propaganda against payday loans in general.

Competition Between the Banks and Payday Loans

I know in many cases there are genuine reasons why people do not have the money to pay back the loan. These situations are not the reason why the media portrays payday loans and cash advances as a trap. Banking overdraft fees are hundreds and sometimes thousands of times more expensive. Payday advance loans are big bank’s fiercest competition. The point of this article is to discuss the real underlying reason why so many people easily buy into the propaganda against the payday loan industry. It is pretty simple if you just step back and look at it for awhile.

Loss Always Hurts

Once a human being acquires some type of advantage they do not like to give it up even if it is the right thing to do. A little extra money now and then, especially when the bills are tight, is tremendously helpful in a time when you need extra cash. But once a person is over it and the averted tragedy is just a memory they subconsciously see paying back the loan as a loss. Loss always hurts even if it is not really a loss at all but a justified repayment. Everyone hates losing an advantage they have acquired. It is a simple fact of life, for most people anyway.

If you have ever gambled and lost something big or had to pay a large bet you made in haste, then you know the sick feeling that can creep into your stomach when you have to give something up, even if it is the right thing to do. It is not the loans that are causing problems for people. It is their own mental issues that are causing them grief. Do you realize how much suffering in this world is self afflicted by psychological issues like this?

Nothing Lost When You Pay What You Owe

Fortunately for some, they do not feel bad when doing the right thing. I hope that those who do feel wrong when doing right, have a chance to someday learn to let it go as I have. There is nothing lost when you pay what you owe. This is a small and seemingly easy concept to think about but it is much harder to put into practice. Who really wants to give up a large chunk of their paycheck on payday? That is not the best feeling for people who do not have the capacity to continue being thankful for the emergency that was avoided even on payday when they pay back the cash loan they received.

As I mentioned before, I use these types of direct loans myself simply because the suffering my family would go through is far more severe than paying higher interest rates on a short term loan. We are not poor and most who obtain payday loans are not low income as the media portrays. In fact, you can not even get a loan if you are poor. The risk of default is too high for the lending companies.

There is nothing worse…

It would be nice if life never put our family in a situation where we had to pick between rent and groceries. I, for my part, are not going to get mad at the the nice people who are willing to risk their money to help my family avoid what I consider a tragedy. There is nothing worse for me to suffer than fighting with my wife about not having groceries or telling my kids not to eat too much because food is short.

Most of the time I am very thankful that there are payday loans available for families like ours. Life would be some much harder without easy access to short term loans. I just hope that people wake up and realize that before they ask the imperfect human government to take that access away, which would be a real tragedy for families like ours.

Just a theory by someone who does not hate to pay back what I owe and appreciates access to a cash advance payday loan.
