Mothers Day is this Sunday, May 9, 2010. If you go back to part I of this article, you can read lots of ideas of things you can do for your mom for Mothers Day that are absolutely free, no short term loans or paydayloans needed. Part I also lists places you can take your mom that will give her free food just for coming through the door on Mothers Day, but I found more places, so here they are.

Cold Stone Creamery is offering mom a free “Love It” size signature ice cream creation. Bring mom in on Sunday May 9 during business hours. Check with your local Cold Stone Creamery for participation details.
Some IKEA stores are offering free breakfast for Mom and a few are offering free massages on Sunday, May 9, 2010 between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. including scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and a cup of coffee. What a fun way to spend the morning. Not only breakfast but then window shop and dream with your mom about the furniture she would love to get. Some stores are requiring a family photo to participate. Be sure to check with your local IKEA store for participation details and especially to see if your local IKEA is participating.
Pat & Oscar’s is offering every child a free kids meal on Mothers Day with every adult meal purchase. Check with your local Pat & Oscar’s for participation details.
Daddy Cakes is offering all moms in Orange County a free breakfast of pancakes, sausage and eggs with the purchase of one $5 breakfast on Saturday, the day before Mothers Day from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Tustin District shopping center in the courtyard in front of the AMC movie theater. RSVP is required by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of each mom attending and number of total guests in the party by Wednesday, May 5. Philly’s Best in Santa Ana is offering moms one meal free on Mothers Day with the purchase of another meal. Check with Philly’s Best for participation details.
Panera Bread restaurants are offering a mini strawberries and cream scone to the first 100 customers who whisper “mom” before 2 p.m. on Mothers Day. Check with your local Panera Bread for participation details.
The Affordable Art Fair in Manhattan is offering free admission on Mothers Day only to children 12 and younger and their moms from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you don’t live in Manhattan, look around and see if there is an art fair or museum that will be free on Sunday near you. Moms love art. Check with The Affordable Art Fair for participation details.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not is offering free admission to moms who bring their children on Mothers Day only. Check with your local Ripley’s for participation details.
Golf Club at Chelsea Piers is offering moms a free $25 golf card when a son, daughter or partner purchases any ball card (minimum $25) on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 9, 2010. Check with Chelsea Piers for participation details. If you don’t live close to Chelsea Piers, check with your local Golf Club and see if it has a Mothers Day offer.
