Onesie

Forever Lazy, a relatively new company, takes something from most people’s childhood and updates it. The product is a one-piece pants and sweater or, in other words, a “onesie.” While it may appear juvenile, the Forever Lazy suit is no joke.

Forever Lazy created in parents’ basement

The creators of the Forever Lazy company — and the signature product, the Uni-Lazy — had one of those “what if?” moments that led to an invention. Musing over how comfortable it would be to wear a onesie, like infants do, both Dave Hilber and Tyler Glaganski tried out some of the few adult sized onesies available and found them lacking, according ABC WISN. So, the pair decided to make their own version of the classic children’s garment for adults. The company was launched in 2009. Since then, the company has been operating out of its headquarters in the basement of Hilber’s parents’ house. The company was given a serious PR boost when Fergie, from the Black Eyed Peas, and her husband Josh Duhamel gave out Uni-Lazy pajamas to numerous friends, including the other members of the Black Eyed Peas, according to MSNBC.

Look out Snuggie

The Uni-Lazy is not just a huge sized kids’ outfit — but it’s close to that.  The combination pants and zip up hoodie is fleece, has a zipper in front, but also an “escape hatch” in the back, in case “nature calls,” according to the company’s website, ForeverLazy.com. It comes in adult and child sizes, and it can be ordered in blue, black, gray or pink. Unlike some child (and some adult) onesies, there are no booties, but the company is throwing in a pair of socks and a neck pillow with each order.

Perfect for Christmas

Granted, this product is a bit silly, which the founders of the company acknowledge. However, it would make a decent gift for the person who likes to lounge in comfort. It lists for $19.95, so it won’t cost an arm and a leg, either.
