Ever since the Arizona immigration law was signed by Governor Jan Brewer, condemnations have been pouring in. The law has been pilloried by the President, and recently, Meghan McCain, Janet Napolitano and the Government of Mexico. While the debate for now is over the methods, something has to be done about the issue. Arizona as it stands has to practically run for a personal loan company dealing with it.
Janet Napolitano slams Arizona immigration law
Janet Napolitano has lashed out at the new Arizona immigration law. As head of the Department of Homeland Security, she feels that the law in question “is a misguided law.” (From CNN.) Illegal immigration reform is an issue that has taken a back burner to other issues, and it appears that the current uproar may push it to the forefront of the Congressional and Presidential agendas before long.
Meghan McCain bucks her father’s take
Breaking with John McCain’s assessment of the bill, Meghan McCain has lambasted the Arizona immigration law. She recently wrote a column on The Daily Beast, she posited that the bill is a “bad law” and it “misses the bigger picture of what is really going on with illegal immigration.” She pointed out that those who don’t see the positive impacts of illegal immigrants’ labor can’t appreciate how the bill will negatively impact a population we depend on without acknowledging that we do.
The Government of Mexico weighs in
The President of Mexico does not support this bill, and thinks Governor Brewer has acted contrary to what the best interests of all involved. President Felipe Calderón issued a statement announcing his frustration with the measure.
“The criminalization of the migration phenomenon, far from contributing to the cooperation and collaboration between Mexico and the U.S., represents an obstacle in the solution of common problems in the border region.” – from the Christian Science Monitor.
Other Mexican officials also condemned the Arizona immigration law. The consensus is that Washington has done little to deal with the problem, and that the general attitude toward immigrants, especially Latin Americans, has been one of hypocrisy and ignorance towards Mexican immigrants and their contributions to American culture.
Not the first time either
This isn’t the first time that a specific immigrant population has been dealt with by heavy handed legislation. It never works, either. It is apparent that many immigrants wish to come to this land to earn a quick payday with honest toil. Though there are always bad apples, it seems apparent that a solution that doesn’t benefit both sides is the road to ruin. There is a demand and a supply, for their labor, and nothing stops the Invisible Hand of those forces.
45% of all legal hispanic immigrants are on one or more welfare programs. Hispanics have the highest birth rate, the highest highschool drop out rate and the highest welfare rate of any group in the US. WHO NEEDS IT?
America do not depend on illegal immigration, they want and like to depend on Americans and legal immigration, this is not saying that illegal immigrants should get an amnesty or a path to citizenship either, this would only sugarcoat their illegal status, to try and make it easier for them being in America,and keep Americans from saying anything about them being illegal! this will be throwing illegal immigrants in America down Americans throats and forcing them to swollow it! Americans will always remember who they are and how bold and rude and nastily aggressive and demanding they were to get such an amnesty, and how our politicians went over their heads to give this to them. Once they get illegal status, millions of them will take control of our congress! this will be terrible, and also they will belong to two countries!!
Any kind of amnesty or a path to citizenship will not make Americans happy it will make them terrible sad and resentful. Americans see through illegal immigrantion in America, they know it is all about them conquering America, and them coming to take America back, they claim now that Arizona were once theirs, and knowing that they are becoming the over populated race in America, makes them all the more push for this uneccessary reform, a reform America doesn't really need! They like the idea that their race are becoming the over populated race! in reality it is all about their race in America! Suddenly Americans are racist when they try to solve the problem of illegal immigration, this racial profiling, and this racist calling is just their stratgies and excuses to help them get their way in America! it just happens that illegal immigration in America is made up by mostly people from Mexico! that means if the Hispanic race are becoming the over populated race in America, Americans will be force to live in a new made up Mexico by illegal immigration getting amnesties, and by just taking advantage of our birthright laws!This is a sneaky amnesty for their children alone in America! as long as our birthrights remain wide open to them they are going to take advantage of it, it helps them to over populated themselves, This not good or right or fair for Americans.
Americans will be force to endure in this new made up Mexico in America! Why doen't this matter to our politicians? Why is this alright to our politicians? Americans are going to always have to compete in employment in their own country,if illegal immigrants get what they want in America, they are doing this now, while 8 millions of illegal remained employed in America, 15 million of Americans remained unemployed! Our politicians do nothing to stop this insanity! To them it is alright for illegal immigrants to be employed in America! It is alright for Employers to hire them or keep them employed! How are Americans suppose to feel when they see their own country being given to illegal immigrants on a silver platters??
When Americans decide to take it upon them selves to save America from the illegal immigration insanity, they are suddenly selfish, racist, and are racial profiling, Governor Jan Brewer is trying to protect her state from being over runned by illegal immigrants and all of their silly advocates! they could care less about Americans, it is all about fitting 40 millions or more illegal immigrants in America over Americans heads,forcing Americans to just shut-up!! while illegal immigrants take over America! I have to give it to Jan Brewer for having the guts, and for being strong to try and do something to save her state Arizona, I wish that more state governors and mayors would have the guts, strength to do the very samething for their American citizens, they all must help stop a stupid immigration reform, stop an amnesty, or a path to citizenship to 40 or more by now illegal immigrants before it is too late!
A lot of Americans and politicians are saying yes to a immigration reform or a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants because they have no real knowledge of what this is going to do to their America, they do not have a clue! Only those American that are against it, see what the future will be with such nonsense! Illegal immigration in America is all about money,this is why so many employers hire them, and this is why millions and millions of illegal immigrant children or allow in American schools there is money to be paid for each child in our schools by the government!!! this is why there are no limitation of how many illegal immigrant children are allow in our schools!
American politicians has let down their own Americans when it comes to many things in America, including employment that is being taken over by illegal immigrants, also illegal immigrants have taken millions of our teen youth employment, there's no more hire for youth programs because of illegal immigration! just only for them and their youth. We can not trust our politicians that we have now in congress, and if they stay in congress American will never trust them any more, if they force an amnesty or a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants upon Americans! Who can Americans trust?? Our fore fathers are turning over in their graves to see America to be given a way to another country!!!!

Thank you, Violet, for having the sense to tell people that there's a HUGE difference between being racist and wanting illegal immigration to be brought under control. I'm not certain that the AZ law will become the right way to handle the situation, considering how much is left up to the interpretation of law enforcement officers, but it could be a good start if people don't lose their heads.

Reestablish the legality of instant citizenship to babies born to an illegal parent or parents in federal court. 4. Make absolutely sure that any incumbent of both parties, starting with Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) is thrown out of office this year. Exhaustion of the local police in Phoenix and other communities unable to handle the daily homicides, kidnappings, home invasions, predatory smuggling people and the narcotics trade.
Any state, county city, town or public servant that boycotts the exceptional state of Arizona, should be black-listed. Hopefully–Americans will donate (however small) money to Arizona if the Governor Jan brewer gets sued. Perhaps a good patriotic American will arrange a website for everybody to give money in the immediate future? If and when it happens my check will be waiting…? If that happens Americans will boycott companies that hire illegal immigrants and that I will add–ONE–company hiring foreign labor to my blogs.
