They’re only $8 if you can find them at walmart. I think the only place they’re $30 is amazon, so just shop early.
Hey, just got back from Walmart and missed out for the third straight time. Darn! My neighbor suggests I check out a site called getZhuzhu. Has anyone tried them? I checked it out and it looks great, and Rhonda swears by it. Actually shes the reason I want to get a few for my little ones for Christmas. She has the whole set and they are just precious!

fran, thanks sooooooo much! i searched all over the place and could NOT NOT NOT find them. getzhuzhu.com had all them in stock and i bought one of each. i am so relieved i knew that the closer to xmas it got, the less hope of find them at all let alone a good price. my two kiddos will be so surprised!

People need to stop being pansies with destructive toys and get themselves a Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster!! I think this is an awesome toy and that my 2 yr old grandson would love it.
I think its crazy how each year its a different toy everyone falls in love with. This years toy is awesome though, I fooled around with a zhu zhu hamster at the toy store last week and immediatly bought three of them for my niece.

Wow, I read and heard on TV that they would be in Walmart and Toysrus this past Sunday. Give me a break. I went to 5 Walmarts near me and they all had signs on their doors informing us that they had SOLD OUT of Zhu zhu hampsters. Earlier in the week I had broken down and bought a 2 sets from the Getzhuzhu.com online store. Prices are about what youd expect, but dang, I’m glad I got some. I had hoped to find the other sets I didnt buy at the stores, but I”m just going to say this now: no chance thats happening. Even if I camp out overnight in freezing temps, its no guarantee. If you cant find them in stores and dont wisht o buy online, i suggest just getting your kid a REAL hampster! No joke
