In The Warning Lyrics Eminem Disses Mariah Carey

“The Warning” a lesson in language

Oh, now he's all mad.

Oh, now he's all mad.

I wanted to post “The Warning” lyrics, by Eminem, but this is a family site. I have provided a link to “The Warning” lyrics at the end of this post, but consider yourself warned. In usual Eminem style, “The Warning” lyrics have more cuss words than regular words.

OK, technically that is not true, but you get what I mean. And what is the word for a word that’s worse than a swear word? Well, whatever it is, it’s got those too.

Eminem disses Mariah Carey after ego is bruised

So for the duration of “The Warning” lyrics, Eminem disses Mariah Carey. He makes his reason clear from the very first line, “Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me.”  This refers to a previous “Eminem disses Mariah Carey” incident.

Much like the fees on a short term loan grow when you borrow more money, Eminem’s ego seems to grow the more he imagines it is being challenged. Eminem appears to have gotten it through his head that Mariah dissed him in her music video for “Obsessed.” I should probably watch it so I can see what he is talking about, but I just don’t think I can stomach a Mariah Carey video this early in the day.

The Warning lyrics show Eminem’s arrogance

Mariah says that Eminem is not referenced, dissed or in any way involved with her video. So perhaps this is all in Eminem’s head? Either way, he seems to have made up his mind and “The Warning” lyrics show Eminem’s feelings toward Mariah Carey in no uncertain terms.

So I guess Eminem is just out to show the world that you can make a career out of picking fights. Eminem has been out of the moneymaking business for a while, but now he is back with a vengeance. He’s about to make a killing on “The Warning.” His fans are still loyal, and anyone who dislikes Mariah Carey very well might become an Eminem fan after reading “The Warning” lyrics.

Eminem disses Mariah Carey’s husband, too

I am sure Mariah Carey is flattered that Eminem dedicated an entire song to her, but married couples are supposed to share everything, and in this case, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are sharing Eminem’s wrath in “The Warning” lyrics.

He says Nick Cannon should get a career in “The Warning” lyrics, and I’d say Eminem is aiming for an overall dissing by association. It’s a good thing that libel law is different when applied to celebrities and public figures, because Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey can’t sue him. Not that they need the money. I’m sure between the millions Mariah Carey made on ”Glitter” and Nick Cannon’s neverending revenue from “Drumline” they’ll be financially set for a while.

Does Nick Cannon need a career?

Nick has been making money since he was a teenager in a rap duo. He is still bringing home the bacon thanks to this year’s film “The Killing Room,” though he doesn’t have a starring role. He is also working on a film called “Extra Protection” that doesn’t yet have a release date.

I heard a sample of Eminem’s “The Warning” and boy did he have a lot to say. To be honest, it was a bit difficult to stop myself from grinning. He definitely handed MC a handful off disses. I wonder what Mariah and Nick had to say about it.

  2. misssweetest says:

people do right things ok,you look..

  3. misssweetest says:

But britney spears is amazing dancers too.

  5. misssweetest says:

Eminem maybe not like mistake people.Like I don`t cared about it.
But eminem looked differented people like you do you.Even thats wife of mariah carey of course ooohh…

  6. NkogNeetO says:

I think it’s brilliant. Mariah needs to get off her high horse. Go Slim! …and misssweetest…uhh, what?

  7. Bri says:

I absolutely LOVE the song! Of course she’s referring to Eminem in her video! Anyone who’s seen the video would know that. She’s most likely just covering her butt by saying it’s not Eminem.
Mariah has a massive ego and hopefully this song will bring her down to reality, even if only for a minute.

  8. Scott says:

Haha, you’re flat out wrong on a few points. While the lyrics never DIRECTLY mention Eminem, it’s extremely obvious that it’s targeted towards him (if you need proof watch the video where Mariah is dressed up).

Also, a few years ago Mariah used to say “no I didn’t have sex with him” but didn’t deny they dated. Now she claims they only met once or twice about a possible collaboration, and calls him “delusional” for saying they used to be together? Hmm…

Anyway, what did she expect? Didn’t think Eminem would respond? In the warning’s lyrics, he says “this is what the fuck I do” which everyone has known since he came onto the rap scene ripping on his mom and wife. Mariah thought she would be spared? Naive, arrogant, and childish.

Anyway half the time he just pops people’s names or insults into his songs because they rhyme, no need to look into it too much (for example, he isn’t a misogynist or homophobe). The lyrics of the Warning were brilliant in comparison to “Obsessed” anyway. She tried way too hard, and they hardly even rhyme.

Regardless, Mariah’s argument that Eminem is out of the scene is also void, considering he’s won 5 more Grammys than she. Relapse also managed to top charts worldwide and sell 600K copies its first week, despite the fact he hadn’t made a single album for 5 years.

Obviously Eminem says a lot of pretty brutal stuff, but it’s pretty easy to tell when he’s serious and when he’s just saying it.

  9. Kris says:

Scott, I love you for that comment. Yeah this article seems like its trying to stay neutural, but just watch the Mariah Carey video she made about him. She just looks like a dumb fake tool now that Eminem beat her at her own game. He is a master at provoking fights, but he was the one provoked this time. It’s not in his head, it’s in Mariah’s lyrics.

    Mariah sucks. GO EM!

  10. Keep hatin says:

Poorly written article. You let your own personal bias get in the way of the facts. If you want to claim for one second that mariah’s song wasn’t a diss on em you lose all credibility right there. Beyond that, you go on to claim that mariah made millions on glitter.. That movie was the biggest flop on the planet and she probably blew any money she made from that while she was on her way to the looney bin and as for nick, one movie does not make a career.
