America must fix its finances first and then go and fix everyone else’s.

Another bank bought off by Chase
The depression that started with the sub-prime mortgages in the U.S. is spreading around the world like a giant sickness. It’s time for America to do some healing, like bringing them Payday Loans.
Things can’t get any worse in America, can they?
We all make mistakes. Some of them are because we are doing something for the first time and don’t know any better and some are mistakes we make because of our poor judgment. Most of us learn from our mistakes and are careful not to make the same mistakes again.
What’s going on, America?
How come every time I open the papers or switch on the TV, I see that another major American bank or financial institution has folded? The economy is starting to look like a giant game of poker, with all the players sitting around the table looking grim, picking up their cards, scowling and folding. It’s time to get up from the game, go outside for a walk, come back in a couple of hours and start playing again. Why is everyone in America in the same sinking boat? Was everyone operating their business according to the same set of rules? Where were the creative and individual thinkers?
There’s no point in flogging this horse, it’s dead already. Its time, as President Obama says, to put the past behind us and move on and start building a new and healthy economy based on good sense and with no loopholes. Never again shall we see the likes of Madoff.
It’s time for change, America
Next time around, when people line up for Payday Loans, may all the amounts be modest. Amid the dust and dirt swirling through the grimy economy, reminiscent of the collapse of the Trade Towers back in 2001, there are a few interesting facts. America, for all its wrongs, is about to pull in a rescue package of $825 billion. That’s the biggest sum of money that most of us have ever heard of. I thought America was broke, all cleaned out! Where were we hiding all that money? Probably where Madoff couldn’t get his sticky fingers on it, I bet.
Good for you, America.
New president, new thinking, a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s time to go out there and face the music. Let’s put on a good show for all the people waiting in the handout lines and hanging around the Payday Line queues. Let’s make sure that everyone gets the message that the good old U.S.A. is still in business and is going to do better. Sure there will be casualties, but we’ll look after them and soothe their wounds and get them back on their feet.
And all things American
And as soon as America’s fixed, it will be time to see what’s happening around the world. Can they get some of that multi-billion dollar aid packet as well? There are a couple of countries that are really suffering and can use some of that American fix-it medicine and spirit.
We live in a global village. Some days it’s great and all sorts of good American things rub off on us. Other times it’s not so good; we catch the backwash of American things that are not good, like a major depression. Just keep bringing us the good things, America, like Payday Loans to help us through the bad times.

I highly doubt that we’ll be able to afford to bail out any other countries once we’ve got our own country back on track. The national debt is going to go up with this new bailout package, but it is a necessary step to get things moving again.
