The Fiesta Bowl this year is hosting the Texas longhorns verses Ohio State, on Jan. 5, and kickoff is at 6pm MST. The Fiesta bowl is in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, and if you are behind on bills and want to make it there, you can apply for a payday loan and make the beginning of 2009 memorable.
The stadium is ready for the 38th annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The stadium is full of natural grass, which is retracted outside when not in use so it can get sunlight and nourishment. The stadium holds 73,000 people and is approximately 19 stories high.
Texas Longhorns:

The Longhorns are led by the Bobby Dodd Coach of the year Mack Brown. This year he coached them through an 11 and 1 season. The one game they lost would have led them to the BCS championship. It was a difficult loss, but they are now looking forward to playing in the Fiesta Bowl. They are currently ranked No. 3 in the nation and have played in only one Fiesta Bowl prior to this one, in 1997 against Penn State. The Longhorns lost that game 38-15, so they hope to not see a repeat of that performance. This team is a very tight unit. Jim Tressel has noted that they play as one and know how to get a ball quickly down a field. Colt McCoy, the starting quarterback, is said to be the “heart of the offense” per Coach Brown, and with everything they have going for them, the Texas Longhorns hope they can go home with a win and a 12 and 1 season.
Ohio State:
Jim Tressel, the head coach at Ohio State, has led his team to a 10 and 2 season, so it looks like he will not be needing a payday loan this year. Ohio State is currently ranked 10th in the nation and started out a trying season with quarterback Todd Boeckman, a senior. Coach Tressel ended up moving Boeckman to second string quarterback and putting in freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor as the starter. This switch helped the team push through and get the 10 and 2 season they had with a strong freshman leading the way. The Fiesta Bowl is nothing new to the Buckeyes; this will be the sixth Fiesta Bowl they have gone to and the fourth since 2003. Ohio State hopes to push through the hard defense of the Texas Longhorns and get an 11 and 2 season.
Who Will Win?

All in all I can’t say who will win. Both teams feel very passionate about playing football and both seem to be ready to play one another. They both go into the fiesta bowl with seasons that were very similar to one another. Many may argue this, but Ohio State goes in with only one more loss than Texas. Both of these teams will no doubt try there hardest and get what they deserve, and if you can make it I hope it is worth the money. As for me, I get to stay home and watch it on TV because I overextended my bank account and had to pay some of my overdue bills with a payday loan.

Good article. I actually never heard of “Fiesta Bowl.” I know, I know. Call me crazy but it’s true. I’m probably always buried in my work – I don’t really get the chance to get the update on what’s hip. From reading the title, I thought it was some kind of national food fight that takes place in Phoenix. Haha…. I guess I learn something new each day.
This game is going to be awesome. I can’t wait to get home and watch it. I wish I has enough money to go there in person to watch the Texas Longhorn’s beat Ohio.

The Fiesta Bowl is going to be exciting to watch these two teams are very well suited. The winner is going to have to work hard and really gonna have to show up the other team! I am very excited to watch this go down tonight!!
