What a Merry Christmas!

After the holidays, cash can be tight, and payday loans can help you manage your short-term financial woes. Britney Spears and her father, Jamie Spears, on the other hand, seemed to have a very Merry Christmas. Jamie Spears got a huge raise, and Britney’s new CD is a big hit. Money is no issue for the Spears family, even during these tough economic times. For everyone else, January is a good month to catch up on those holiday bills, and if you need the help, payday loans can be a valuable resource.

How Much was Jamie Spears’ Raise?

It is as if Jamie Spears wasn’t making enough money as it was. Jamie Spears had been receiving $10,000 a month since February to manage Britney’s finances and other affairs. Apparently, the ten grand was not enough for Jamie. A Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner recently decided that Daddy Spears deserved a Christmas raise. How much, you ask? Jamie Spears will now get an additional $6,000 each month to manage his daughter’s money. A $6,000 raise? I thought we were in an economic recession. In addition to the $16,000 a month, Jamie Spears gets an extra $1,200 every month to keep up an office where he deals with Britney’s finances. Without the expense account, Jamie’s hourly wage comes out to about $75 an hour. It’s clearly obvious why he won’t be needing payday loans anytime soon.

Britney Spears’ Circus

A $6,000 dollar raise is pretty outlandish, but it looks as though Jamie is doing a better job as a dad and financial advisor. After a couple years of turmoil and questionable behavior, Britney Spears seems to be making a comeback. Britney’s new CD Circus debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard charts. Britney also begins her world tour this spring, and ticket sales are already through the roof. A hit CD and big ticket sales should give Jamie Spears a little more work.

Getting Paid to be a Parent? Yeah Right.

First of all, in the real world, parents do not get paid to be parents. Parenting is a tough job, and there aren’t many rewards for taking care of your kids. You have to pay to take care of your kids; you don’t get paid to take care of them. Secondly, if you got a raise this holiday season, you, like Jamie Spears, were one of the lucky ones. Most people didn’t even get a Christmas bonus, let alone a raise this year. The economy is struggling too much for companies to afford to give Christmas bonuses and raises.

Catch Up on Holiday Expenses

Affording normal expenses in addition to gifts and other holiday luxuries can be difficult, especially if you weren’t lucky enough to get a Christmas bonus or raise like Daddy Spears. A lot of families find themselves in financial trouble come January when those credit card bills finally show up in the mail. It’s easy to get carried away and overspend during the holidays. Fortunately, getting caught up can be easy, too. A $6,000 raise would definitely do the trick, but a more realistic solution is a payday loan. Payday loans can help you pay for bills until you get your next paycheck.

Discussion of Britney Spears’ Dad Gets a Raise But You Need Payday Loans

I think it’s fair. The man needs to make a living of his own – for his sake and his family’s. Just because he is Britney Spears father doesn’t mean he should have to spend all his time and energy, everyday all day, managing a huge part of Britney’s livelihood and not get anything in return.

  2. Mark says:

You can trust your dad when you can’t trust anyone else, if he has to give up his job to do it and there is enough money, why not get paid?

  3. Perky On Payday says:

Wow. $16,000 a month? That’s doing really well, but then again if her career is on the upswing and there isn’t anything seriously exploitative going on, then its a bit fair. He’s obviously entitled for just compensation, he is managing her affairs. I just hope she can get legal control back – it is her career after all.

  4. Duncan says:

Jamie Spears deserves everything he gets! He only makes a fraction of what Britney gets and he is the glue that keeps her together and makes sure she gets everywhere on time and somewhat sane! Yes he is her father but I am a grown adult and my dad wouldn’t help and give up his job if I wasn’t paying him in some way so he too can make a living. It’s very fair and hopefully with everything coming up he gets another raise soon!

  5. B and the J's says:

Everyone deserves what they get. If this is what is negotiated for his role, then power to him. Sign me up.

  6. Renee says:

I definitely don’t think everyone deserves what they get. But if Jamie Spears is Britney’s manager, he definitely deserves to get paid. And even though the economy is down right now, if Britney’s album sales are up, it only make sense that Jamie got a huge raise. What I don’t understand is that a LA Superior Court Commissioner allotted the raise to Mr. Spears. Why is the justice system involved in the business relationship between Britney and her father? Does anyone know? I mean, I know she’s had some legal issues in the past few years, but I didn’t realize they extended into business matters.

That is interesting that he received the raise from the courts and not from Brittney, but it is possible that she really doesn’t have any control over anything she does right now and the courts decide whats best for her.

  7. Gerald says:

If she was my daughter and was working and making that sort of money, I would love to look after her and be compensated also.
I think it is only fair to recieve that kind of income.
If she had to pay another manager im sure the cost would be much higher.
