A Global Economic Disaster
The National Bureau of Economic Research has ruled that we are in fact in a recession. We have all witnessed the economic turmoil that has not only affected the United States, but the whole world in general. Banks are closing, mortgage rates continue to decline, and nearly two million jobs have been lost. More and more people are cutting down their spending and saving more money. The number of people turning to payday loans has dramatically increased because of this current economic disaster.
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the unemployment rate for all individuals sixteen years and over rose from 6.5 to 6.7 percent in the month of November. The unemployment rate continued to increase in November for both adult men and women. The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently reported that there were 3.1 million job openings in the U.S. on October 31st. For the past 13 months, the job opening rate had quivered and dwindled after remaining essentially flat from August 2006 through September 2007. In October, the hire rate hit 3.0 percent for the third time in 2008. The last time the hire rate was this low was nearly six years ago. You can see why more and more people are in need of financial resources such as payday loans.
Economic Crisis: Breakdown in the Family
It truly is an uncertain time as we feel the twinge of the economic ups and downs. We will not know how deep the bottom is until we’ve made a significant recovery. Many families are facing layoffs, shrinking retirement funds and piling debts; these economic uncertainties can definitely test marriages and relationships. While others are finding renewed strength and closeness, others are heading for divorce court. It’s important to keep in mind that even though you may not have control over what happens with things such as employment, you still have control over the support you give to each other. Those who are notably affected by the economic stress tend to be less able to notice the things that are actually going well in their relationships, either with their spouse or children. Focusing on what you can control will absolutely make a positive difference in your life.
Perfect Timing!
Of course it is easy to get distracted with all the stress caused by the current recession. As we go about our lives to maintain an acceptable financial flow, we forget about the little ones that rely on us the most: our children.

They are the future of our country. How well we train our children will determine the structure of their future. Although the economy is currently under chaos, this can also be the perfect opportunity to educate our children on the importance of money management. We all have encountered financial problems at some point in our lives. In their future adult lives, your children may be in need of resources such as payday loans and cash advances. However, make sure they understand the proper usage of these financial resources in order to prevent further financial dilemmas. We, as parents, must set a fine example, not only for the sake of our children’s future, but for the sake of our current living conditions.
Prepare for Future Economic Disasters
What is going on in the economy is a great example and reminder that anything can happen. If or when the economy decides to make yet another turn in the future, there is nothing more shielding than to be financially prepared. Naturally, you will stumble upon a hard rock from time to time. Financial resources are available to help, whether it’s credit repair you need or quick payday loans to help make ends meet, you’ll find a lending hand – all you need is to look.
