Steps to Repair your Personal Credit Fast.
Building Credit Part 1
Building your credit especially from scratch can seem like a very daunting task, and for many who are borrowing payday loans or cash advances because of bad credit may appreciate a few tips on how to turn your credit back around. Over the next several days I will post helpful tips for establishing good credit.
First of all when it comes to personal credit, the first you want to do is know what others are saying about you. That information can easily be found in your personal credit report.
Your personal credit information is track by three major credit bureaus. They are Experian, Equifax and Trans Union. The first step you’ll need to take on the road to rebuilding your credit is to obtain your credit report from each of these three bureaus. You may be surprised at what you find. It’s not uncommon for people today to see discrepancies on there credit report that don’t belong to them. Examples might be additional accounts or delinquent payments. Identity theft is very prevalent today and you owe it to yourself to monitor these things. Why? Because credit reports are used to create credit scores which are the three digit numbers that lenders use to determine how credit worthy you are. The lower the credit score, the higher the interest rates you will be paying.
Fortunately, we are entitled to an annual look at our credit report each year from each of the three credit bureaus. The cost? Free!
